To all the non-knitters out there who read my blog, knitting must seem terribly complicated. You are probably thinking is it really worth all the trouble? Why does it take so long to choose a freaking yarn? What is the big deal, just start knitting already!

And that is what I decided to do. Stop overanalyzing and just start knitting. I finally choose a yarn for my Simple Knitted Bodice. I have decided to knit it in Debbie Bliss Cathay in this color (007):

I am still working on the V neck increases but it is knitting up pretty quickly. I hope to post more soon and with pictures!!! I making the extra small size assuming that I will have to do a few extra increase rounds. Other than that I haven’t yet deviated from the pattern.

I also have yet to decide what to do with my Karaoke. Return it? Keep it? Make a felted bag? There’s a pattern in the new Knitty that I like – it uses 2 colors of Lamb’s Pride Worsted. I could do a test swatch and use the Karaoke as one color combined with the Lamb’s Pride see if they will felt compatibaly.

Also, since I think that blogs are more interesting to read when the author talks a bit about his/her life, I need to just tell the world right now that I am not a mom meant for driving around 8,000 places after school. That really makes me nuts. All this rushing around is making me a bit bonkers. What I would really like to do is take the best parts of summer and the best parts of the school year and combine them together. That would be so cool!
