Stage 6 – The One with the Really, Really Good Day!
Posted by: Tamara in home stuff, spinning, tags: tour de fleece, WOOLToday’s spinning stats… 1 hour, 1.5ish ounces
I am thinking… how exciting it is that I’m going to be able to go to WOOL! I was reading all the stuff that Tina was writing about it and so coveting that one of the last openings would belong to me so I decided, what the heck, should give it a try so I e-mailed her to see if anyone else was coming from CT and Tina worked some magic and hooked me up with a new friend. (Yes, one of my least favorite things is highway driving. Tina wrote that next year WOOL will be at Winter Clove Inn which, when I google mapped it, looks like I could get there highway free!
I am thankful for… a day which has become a day without argument with TD1 (Teen Daughter 1, aka K).
From the kitchen… quiet… Oh wait! There is yogurt brewing. It is always so quiet that I forget about it. It is a good thing that today I set a timer for 7 hours.
Today I... did a lot of “putzing” around.
I am wearing... denim mini, teal tank
I am creating... well, for lack of something different to write at this moment, yarn
I am going… to see Jack Johnson tonight with my sister!
I am reading... just the newspaper today. I learned that by 2030 we will be having a lot more of these types of heat waves.
I am hoping... for a fun, relaxing, low-stress evening
I am hearing… my fan
Around the house… quiet. Just D and J home. B comes home from camp tomorrow!
One of my favorite things… spinning on a dock on Lake George. Well, I haven’t actually done it yet, but I can tell that I will like it.
A few plans for the rest of the week... visiting with my family, maybe a little dyeing
Here is picture from my garden today that I am sharing…
