Today’s spinning stats… about 2.5 hours, 1 ounce plus plying plus starting on the milk

I am looking forward to… Monday, July 12 which is a day of rest from The Tour.  Who knows, maybe I will spin anyway.

I am thinking… I should make some oatmeal cookies for K to bring to her Field Hockey tournament tomorrow so she has some extra energy.

I am thankful for… my family.  My sister was here today and my parents came down for dinner and B is home from camp.  I made dinner for all  and they seemed to enjoy it.

Last night I... enjoyed the Jack Johnson concert.  It was a seriously fun night out with my sister.  I must be getting really old because  I thought it was crazy that the concert didn’t actually start until 10!  Overall it was a very young crowd, though intermittently mixed ages.   I was surprised by this since he is technically (according to Wikipedia) classified as soft rock. I was describing him earlier in the week as “alternative, folksy.”   I just though he would pull an older audience.

I am wearing… this is sort of a silly question to answer everyday, but it is easy so I guess I will keep it.  Shorts and a tank top today.

I am creating… still yarn, lol. Though I am starting to peruse some knitting patterns.

I am going… to be early tonight.  Maybe. If I don’t make cookies.

I am reading… I was actually being read to while I spun tonight. Dave has been reading It’s Not About the Bike, My Journey Back to Life by Lance Armstrong and he read a couple of chapters aloud to me.  (And yes, don’t tell him I told  you, but at one point we both had tears streaming down our faces.)

I am hoping… K will do well AND have fun at her tournament tomorrow

I am hearing… Veggietales?  I don’t know. Sometimes it is better not to ask.

Around the house… Dave is getting ready for the trip to Albany tomorrow for field hockey and the girls are filtering up to bed

A few plans for the rest of the week… dyeing, maybe listing some rovings, exercising, going to Lake Compounce with the girls. This is a much quieter week for me.  J is going to my sisters on Wednesday to stay for a few days. K has overnight field hockey camp  starting on Saturday.
