I’ve been waiting all week for an idea to come to me, because you see, this first post has to be spectacular! But, although I’ve had severaly ideas, none of them have seemed to be “first Post” quality. So I’ve decided to take a different tatic. My first post is just going to be all about getting it over with so I’m just no longer a blogging virgin. Then maybe the good stuff will come after that!

So this is it, my first post! Whoo hooo!!!

I do want to add a couple crafty pictures though, so I can check off some categories on my side bar!

  1. Congratulations on your first blog entry! At your request I\’m answering your question about the fiber you used in the project posted in your July 27, 2006 entry.

The fiber you spun in this project is from Ancient Threads in New York State, not far from VT border. You purchased it at the Mass Sheep and Wool Festival in 2005. I purchased some too, but I spun it up bulky and knit it into a scarf. I went back in 2006 just for their booth and purchased 4 more bags of the rainbow and 1 lb of a nice orange yellow blend.

    Congratulations again!
    Love your sister,

  2. I think this is an awesome first blog entry. I will have to check back daily to see the progress of the projects that Hoops and Yoyo are working on. And just HOW did you teach them how to spin? Must have been quite a sight. Hoping to see some step by step pics featuring Hoops and Yoyo in their spinning glory!
PS – For whom is the purse? May we nominate people whom we think should have the purse? Can we vote on purse ownership? I have an idea who would like it…..

  3. Thank you Elizabeth on your excellent memory and record keeping skills. Now that I have a blog, I am going to have to keep better records myself! T.

  4. Did I mention that you made a lovely purse?

    Hi Tamara,

Congratulations on your website and blog. They are impressive! I really like the lilly pictures… they are gorgeous flowers.

I think you should add a few photo “chapters.” Your pictures are so vibrant.

Good luck with continuing. Maybe I can ask you a question sometime… or answer a photo question.
