Finally, a finished project to share! Or rather, I believe, I am finally finding time to share a finished project with you…

Pattern: Wonky by Brittany Wilson
My Ravelry link: Here
Yarn: Hand spun yarn from a Spunky Eclectic Fiber
Fiber: I believe this is a superwash merino/bamboo(rayon)/nylon blend
Colorway: Can’t remember its official name, but I think of it as Ice Cream. I’m not really sure why as ice cream isn’t typically that color blue.
Thoughts: This pattern is a super-speedy-quick knit. I whipped this up in just a few hours. I had to hold back actually once I cast on so I would have something to knit at my knitting group. I think this would be a great project for someone just starting out learning to read patterns and ready to branch out into the knitting world.

LOVE the new look of your blog!! I think it’s been too long since I’ve been here “live” and not just reading through bloglines. It looks loverly!!! One thing I can’t find is when your posts were posted??? I only see that info if I comment. Is that deliberate??? I love all the info and how it is arranged on your sidebar! You are one talented chickie I tell you – must be since you’re the oldest… you must be the wisest too!!! (insert maniacal laughter to the tune of the latest country monkey christian jazz song out there…..) (yep, still laughing) (still)
And, my probably make me look dumb question of the day, what is that that you made up there? Is a wonky a topless hat? A universal scarf with no ends? A purse for people with nothing to carry? A leg warmer for a really big leg? A lovely accent to place around a potted plant??? I am curious grasshopper – very curious.
Thank you so much dear Purple Mock Potato Fan! I just changed around some of the colors and stuff. This is a great theme that lets you do that very easily. I don’t like the way the date stamps look with this theme, so I removed them until the time I have a chance to figure out how to make them look different. I don’t like the date not being there either, but they just look wrong to me when they are there.
Oh yes, and Wonky is like a neckwarmer thingy. Yeah, I should probably have a live person modeling it! But you are right, it could serve all those purposes – perhaps a topless hat or an empty purse. What very good ideas!
Thank you so much for commenting! LMK when you post to your blog, okay???
Makes me wonder if we are going to have mock purple potatoes tomorrow. I haven’t been to your blog in so long – I recognized that it looked different but figured it wasn’t that new!
Cute little wonky!
Very nice wonky!! Did you like the pattern? I wanted to make more than just one, but couldn’t ’cause I was too busy trying to spend time in the warm sun before winter settled in. Maybe I’ll use some of my handspun for one of these………
