On the west coast our gloom lasts from November through February, and sometimes beyond. The valley where I live gets these weather inversions where fog settles in the valley and you won’t can’t see whether it’s cloudy or not. The fog can last for weeks. YUK! Makes me homesick for those crisp bright winter days in the mid section of the country. Colorado has some of the best winter weather.
